I first decided I was going to have a career in the graphic design industry during my Art GCSE, when we had to brand a fictional shop. I tailored my A Levels around Design and then studied BA(Hons) Graphic and Media Design at Hereford College of Arts. Whilst doing this course I learnt a great deal, improving software skills, becoming more confident and experimenting in book binding and silk screen printing.

Since finishing my degree I have been gaining experience at various agencies and earning money in a well known supermarket. I have recently finished a three month, full time placement at a digital design agency based in Bridgwater. Here I worked on ECRM's and online campaigns for clients such as L'Oreal, Pepsi and Carlsberg. Due to how much I learnt and how much I enjoyed working there, the digital industry is now the area I would prefer to specialise in.
